Terms of service

You must be able to enter into a legally binding agreement where you live to use Assetra. If you use Assetra for an organization, you represent that you have authority to accept these Terms for it.

You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information, safeguarding access to your account, and activity performed through it. Notify us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.

Assetra provides tools for identifying, organizing, tracking, researching, and sharing collectible cards and other assets. Features may include scans, certification lookups, comparable sales, market estimates, collections, watchlists, listings, and public sharing.

Results may be produced automatically from third-party information, image recognition, or user-provided details. You should review important information before relying on it.

Prices, medians, comparable sales, population figures, trends, and estimates are provided for informational purposes only. They are not appraisals, guarantees of value, investment advice, or an offer to buy or sell.

Market information may be delayed, incomplete, duplicated, incorrectly matched, converted between currencies, or later revised. A displayed sale may not reflect payment, cancellation, fees, taxes, shipping, condition differences, or other terms of a transaction. You are responsible for your own evaluation and decisions.

You retain ownership of photographs, scans, descriptions, and other content you submit. You grant Assetra a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, process, reproduce, modify for technical purposes, and display that content as needed to operate, secure, and improve the service and provide features you request.

You represent that you have the rights needed to submit your content and that doing so does not violate law or another person’s rights. Do not upload sensitive personal information that is not needed for the service.

Some features create public links, profiles, collections, scans, or listings. Anyone with access to a public link may view and further share its contents. Review a page before publishing or sending it.

Removing a public page from Assetra may not remove copies, previews, screenshots, or caches created by other people or third-party services.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, Assetra is not the buyer, seller, grader, auction house, payment processor, or delivery provider for a transaction between users or on a third-party marketplace.

Users are responsible for item descriptions, authenticity, condition, pricing, payment, taxes, shipping, legal compliance, and resolving transaction disputes. Exercise appropriate diligence before dealing with another person or leaving Assetra.

You may not use Assetra to:

• break the law, facilitate fraud, or infringe another person’s rights;
• upload malicious code or attempt to compromise accounts, systems, or data;
• misrepresent an item, certification, transaction, identity, or affiliation;
• harass others or publish unlawful, deceptive, or abusive content;
• circumvent access controls, usage limits, or security measures;
• scrape or automate access in a way that burdens the service or violates third-party terms; or
• resell or exploit the service or its data except as expressly permitted.

Assetra may link to or use information from graders, marketplaces, auction platforms, authentication providers, analytics services, and other third parties. Their services and content are governed by their own terms and policies.

References to third-party names and marks identify sources or compatibility and do not imply endorsement or affiliation.

Assetra and its licensors retain all rights in the service, including its software, design, branding, original content, and compilations, except for user content and third-party materials.

We may investigate misuse and remove content, restrict features, suspend accounts, or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect users, third parties, or the service, or to comply with law.

We may add, change, suspend, or discontinue features. We do not guarantee that Assetra will always be available, error-free, or that stored content will never be lost. Maintain your own records where appropriate.

We may establish or adjust reasonable usage limits to protect service quality, security, and availability.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Assetra is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, or availability.

Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or warranties that cannot legally be excluded.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Assetra will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, opportunities, data, goodwill, or value arising from use of or inability to use the service.

These limitations do not apply where liability cannot legally be limited or excluded.

We may update these Terms as Assetra evolves. We will post the revised version and update the effective date. If a change is material, we may provide additional notice where appropriate.

Continuing to use Assetra after revised Terms take effect means you accept the revised Terms. If you do not agree, stop using the service.
